About the club:
The Leeds Steampunk Embassy was founded in 2016 to be a social group for steampunks in Leeds and West Yorkshire. It is the successor to older Leeds Steampunk groups that used to meet at the Victoria Hotel which is the historic home of Steampunk in Leeds. The group has previously run in person pubmeets in Leeds city centre on a monthly basis, however, these have not run since the lockdown in 2020. Instead the group runs a regular online pubmeet (on the 2nd Thursday of the month) which is open to members worldwide. The group also runs a number of social events each year including an Annual 'punknic' in Harrogate Valley Gardens.
