East Coast Steampunks is hosting an outing for steampunks to explore Gunby Hall, Estate & Gardens. Steampunks of all ages please come along and meet old friends and make new ones and gather for a ‘punknic’ a picnic steampunk-style. On arrival, book your timed free tour of the historic and homely old House, originally a medieval moated manor. Pose for lovely photos in the extensive grounds, play steampunk games such as Parasol Duelling and Cane Duelling, sit, relax, chat, and explore the themed formal gardens including a fabulous 8-acre Victorian walled garden and accessible trails, bookstore, plant store, the Orchard Gallery exhibition, Ice House Pond, ancient Chapel and graveyard. There is also a tearoom. There will be trade and craft stalls and lawn games. If you are new to steampunk, this is the ideal opportunity to come along and chat to steampunks and ask any questions you may have in the beautiful surroundings of Gunby Hall, Estate & Gardens.
